AD ERMES

Ermes, io lungamente ti ho invocato.

In me è solitudine: tu aiutami,

despota, ché morte da sé non viene;

nulla m'alletta tanto che consoli.

Io voglio morire:

voglio vedere la riva d'Acheronte

fiorita di loto fresca di rugiada.

«

When they came for the Jews and the blacks, I turned away
When they came for the writers and the thinkers and the radicals and the protestors, I turned away
When they came for the gays, and the minorities, and the utopians, and the dancers, I turned away
And when they came for me, I turned around and around, and there was nobody left…

A Thousand Plateaus Seminar

If all will be good next week, probabilly on Friday, there will be the first meet-up for planning the 'A Thousand Plateaus Seminar'.

This idea jumped in my mind when 'semioticmonkey' showed me a link on Deleuze & Guattari's Thousand Plateaus; this site is spreading D&G's book with self-reflection, seminars and a 'common' web site well everyone can write, read and compare his/her personal 'lecture' with others in the worlds. After reading a bit on this site the day after i started speaking with some philosophy mates and non-philosophy ones and i found that quite all of them - the part of them that is interested in Deleuze's thinking - was agreed with me for the seminar idea.

The seminar idea is mooded on a 'permanent seminar' that will last for all the 2009 ... probabilly this week will be meet at the first lession to discuss how to divide Thousand Plateaus and how to plan the seminar during all the year.

We will see ....

Good reading.
